Come March, the final book in my Kaely Quinn Profiler series will come to an end. A DEAD END. I want to share a little about book three and offer you a chance to win a copy when it's released.
DEAD END
When a body is discovered in a field in Iowa, the police uncover fourteen additional corpses, some from twenty years ago, others from the recent past. The remains point to a serial killer with an MO the authorities have seen before--Ed Oliphant, a man who has been in prison for more than twenty years . . . and is FBI Special Agent Kaely Quinn's father. After several failed attempts to discover if Ed has been training someone to be a copycat killer, the police turn to Kaely in St. Louis for help.
Kaely promised herself she would never step foot in her hometown or set eyes on her father again. She's always refused to confront her past, but if she wants to prevent any more deaths, she must come face-to-face with the man she's hated for years.
As more bodies are discovered, Kaely races against time and her own inner turmoil to uncover the killer. Will this most personal case yet cost Kaely her identity and perhaps even her life?
Leave me a comment about what you've enjoyed most about this series. I'll pick five winners who will get a signed copy of DEAD END!
Nancy
I have found Kaely's profiling methods to be very interesting (at times a tiny bit scary)! I've also enjoyed watching Kaely grow spiritually and socially throughout the series.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I'm glad you're enjoying the series.
DeleteI enjoyed how Kaely didn't let her past keep her from helping others.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWOW! DEAD END sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo many aspects of this story and I'm sure masterfully crafted into one great story. I would be riveted to my seat as I turned the pages not wanting to stop on this one. It will be a long anticipating wait until March 31.
Thank you for the opportunity to win a copy!
Have a great weekend.

DeleteOne of my favorite TV shows is Criminal Minds. This series reminds me a lot of that show. I like the two main characters a lot, and it is nice to have the profiling thing in Christian fiction books.

Thanks!
DeleteI haven’t read the series yet because I’m waiting for book 3. The descriptions I’ve read kind of remind me of the movie Silence of the Lambs. I’m not quite sure that’s accurate, but we’ll see.

I love that just when I’m sure I know who the killer is, something happens to make myself doubt that I’m right. I love not being able to guess an ending!

DeleteI just love how Kaely's mind works and that even though her methods are unorthodox, their are people in the FBI who believe in her. I also love how these books keep you guessing to the end.
ReplyDeleteclhutsonatgmaildotcom
Haven't read any but they sound interesting. F.B.I. stories might be good. I'd like the suspense.
ReplyDeletecatbooks72(at)gmail(dot)com
This series captures you from the first chapter and is one of those books that keep you up late with toothpicks in your eyes so you “can read one more page”, more times than you can count. When I finished each book, I couldn’t wait for the next one. Fabulous is an understatement, I’ve enjoyed reviewing them on my blog, LisaMBuske.com and on Amazon. Check them out, these are must reads, I’ve been waiting for this book!

DeleteI love Kaely's stories and reading how each mystery strengthens her faith in God and shows Noah that God really is there watching over them.
ReplyDeleteI love Kaely. She is a strong, independent woman who has come up with coping skills that work for her. I can't wait to read Dead End!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to the series, but it sounds exciting.

ReplyDeleteWow, I have never read this series, but it sure sounds like the kind of stories I love to read! Sounds very intriguing and like very good page turners! I will be adding them to my TBR list. Have a Great weekend. God Bless you.
ReplyDeleteI love how this character is female, has overcome a horrible childhood trauma, is based out of a city I love in St. Louis, and is trying to not become romantically attached to a co-worker.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all your books! I haven’t read this series yet as I like to wait until all books are out. Would be so blessed to win one!

Kaely has me hooked! I love her special talent, it's so unique from anything I have ever read. Plus I might be a little partial Nancy, to the 1st book Mind Games, because I had the privilege of my name being used as one of the people in your book. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven’t read the series yet but I want to and will at some point! Mystery and Suspense are my favorite genres.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS SERIES! My favorite aspect is the way that Kaely learns about herself and struggles to use her gifts in real ways without retreating from the criticism of others. So many good lessons in this book, but she feels so real! I love that she's not perfect - she feels real; the best kind of character in a mystery/suspense story. Can't wait for the story.
ReplyDeleteYou are a new author to me, so I haven't read any of your books yet but would love to read it! Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteRead Book 1, have book 2. Kaely is such a great character...especially with her family history. She rises above and has strength to seek truth in the midst of the pitfalls of her life. Would enjoy Book 3!
ReplyDeleteI have been a fan of your books since Ivy Towers. Since I love cozy mysteries, I wasn't sure I would enjoy this new direction. But decided to try it and I am so glad I did. It is a great psychological thriller. Mind games, evil versus good. Looking forward to see how the series will end.
ReplyDeleteNeva at lthouselucy@gmail.com
I was a bit worried about changing directions, but now I'm writing the kind of books I always wanted to write. Thanks for hanging on!
DeleteI've only read the first one. Th e second is in my TBR pile. I loved the first so I know they are going to get better. I enjoy your work, Nancy. Thanks for the opportunity to win #3!
ReplyDeleteI love good mysteries-these have suspense and danger. thanks for your giveaway

I have enjoyed reading about Kaely, she has an inner strength that shows thru the pages.
ReplyDeleteYou are one of my favorite suspense authors. I know when I pick up one of your books I have a winner in my hand. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeletetumcsec(at)gmail(dot)com
I love the exquisitely painful interrrelational conflicts that try to knock any agent's brain offstride, and also your excellent choices of names--very convincing and realistic.
ReplyDeleteI haven't actually read any of this series, but have heard only good things about it!
