RELEASE OF FREE FALL - BOOK 3 IN THE QUANTICO FILES SERIES

A little less than 5 weeks until the release of FREE FALL! Here's a little something about it:

The closer she comes to the truth, the deadlier her chase gets.

FBI behavioral analyst Alex Donovan and her colleague Logan Hart have been called upon to write a profile for a missing woman, but a little digging quickly turns up more disappearances in Virginia with the same physical description.

Alex is in a race against the clock to rescue the missing victims, so when the UNSUB makes demands of her in exchange for information, Alex takes the bait. But when her life is put in jeopardy, Logan must do whatever it takes to track them down before time runs out.

Alex works to think one step ahead of the suspect, but the more Logan and the BAU learn about the serial kidnapper, the more they fear Alex may not make it out alive.

A few reviews:

"The relentless pace will keep readers glued to their seats . . . This pulse-pounding romantic thriller is a wild ride."--Publishers Weekly

"In my opinion, this was definitely the best Nancy Mehl book I have read to date! The suspense was top notch from start to finish. It had some creepy moments and the book was very well written. I enjoyed how the series is progressing with Logan and Alex with the Behavioral Analysis Unit, and Mehl throws in some nice curveballs. A lot of her books I guess this ending but I had no clue where this was going and it had a very satisfying ending." Goodreads Review

"Third in the Quantico Files series, Free Fall takes readers on a wild ride inside the mind of a killer. Mehl’s strong faith shines through in this installment, as newly converted Alex learns to claim the promises of the Bible to overcome her fears. Logan’s mature faith gets tested as well, as he faces the unknown.

"Fans of Lisa Harris, Colleen Coble, and Carrie Stuart Parks will enjoy this novel." - Goodreads Review

"Nancy Mehl still ranks way up there as one of the few top mystery suspense authors I would recommend to Christians. Her writing is absolutely top notch, and that is a rare statement coming from me. In Free Fall, she had me engrossed from page one. Besides the fine writing, her storyline and plot kept me on the edge of my seat, making me want to rush to the end to find out what happens." - Goodreads Review

Excerpt from FREE FALL

Logan got out of the car and walked a few feet away so he could see what was happening more clearly. Jeff joined him, and they stared down at the scene below. The agents were moving toward the structure, weapons drawn. Time seemed to have slowed to a crawl.

“I wish they’d hurry,” Logan said.

“You know they have to be careful. Not only for themselves but for Alex. If they move too fast—”

Suddenly, a loud explosion rocked the ground, and in only seconds fire engulfed the building. With Alex still inside.

  2. It definitely needs to be Christian fiction for me, and I prefer the longer ones. The ones that the story develops a bit more indepth. I do read some of the shorter quick mysteries, but they aren't my preference. I am excited about this book!

  12. I like edge of the seat suspense that pulls me into the story and doesn’t let up. Suspense that keeps me wondering how is this going to turn out and adding in a little romance doesn’t hurt either!

The best suspense stories keep you guessing. The author throws out a few red herrings and makes you gasp out loud a few times when you realize that what you expected is completely off.
