A New Release and a Giveaway!

This week, Snowbound Amish Survival, my 12th Love Inspired Suspense released.

She’s caught in a snowstorm…with a target on her back.

When armed men burst into her patient’s house looking for her, Amish midwife Hope Christner barely escapes with her pregnant friend. Now running through a snowy forest with enemies in pursuit and a blizzard raging, Hope has no choice but to turn to the closest neighbor, her ex-fiancé, Hunter Shetler. But facing the heartbreak of their past is just as frightening as the attackers on her trail…

Snowbound Amish Survival is the 4th book that features the Shetler Brothers of West Kootenai, Montana. Hunter Shetler is the youngest of the brothers and was once engaged to marry Hope Christner until a disagreement between their fathers ended up breaking them up.

Amidst the worst snowstorm of the season, armed men break into the house looking for Hope. Running for her life, Hope recruits the man who broke her heart to help figure out why she is a target before it is too late.

With dangerous men hot on their trail, we see glimpses of what happened between Hope and Hunter throughout the story. Sprinkled in are sweet moments where they remember why they fell in love with each other in the first place.

And with God’s help, Hope and Hunter find their way back to each other again.

For a chance to win a copy of Snowbound Amish Survival, have you ever gone through something, good or bad, that made you see God’s hand in it?

I’ll announce the winner next Friday, February 4th!

Blessings always,

Mary Alford

  1. Oh, yes! There have been 2 specific instances where something happened that I didn't understand until months later. They were both "for such a time as this" moments that I will never forget. This book sounds very interesting. Thanks for the chance to win a copy. boxtopscrazy at gmail dot com.

  2. Hi, yes there have been alot of times when I know God changed my plans for the better of me or my family. One time when we went to pick up our grandson so that he could stay with us for a week , my husband was driving and all of a sudden a car from the opposite lane went out of control and it was coming really fast in the median , I could just see it running right in to us, but then all of a sudden as it got closer it stopped, I know God did that. We had precious cargo in our vehicle. Your book sounds like a great read, thank you so much for the chance. Have a great weekend and stay safe. aliciabhaney(at)sbcglobal(dot)net

  3. I love this series!! And once I lost my job and wondered what God had in mind. It surprised me that was my first thought. What he had in mind was much better than what I had. :-)

  7. I can remember as a child, when my grandfather died and we left CA to come back to OK for the funeral, we hit an awesome snow storm. Cars were stuck, you couldn't see and my brother and I were scared and cold (since it never gets below like 55 where we lived). There were several things on that trip that showed us that God had us in his hands. One was when one of the chains on the tires broke a link and was flopping threatening to come completely off. It was white everywhere and Mom said a pray asking for help. Then she told Dad to stop and go over by the ditch there was a piece of wire. Dad stopped, got out and went over and sure enough there was a piece of bailing wire folded back and forth in a little bundle -just the amount he needed to wire up the chain until we could get to the next town. I can remember one saying "we shouldn't have came" only to have Mom say "If God hadn't wanted us to come, he would have prevented us from leaving the house. He's got this!" We made the trip slow but sure and made it there with time to spare. Even as a child I knew that God had his hand in our making the trip safely.

  14. Without going into details, I truly believe that God orchestrated an event that made my daughter realize that she was in a very bad relationship. There was nothing that I could do for fear of driving her away, but my prayers were answered in God's perfect timing.
I enjoy Mary's books and I appreciate this giveaway.
