THIS WEEK ON THE SUSPENSE SISTERS

We have exciting things planned for you this week on the Suspense Sisters!

On Tuesday Patricia Bradley will tell us What’s Hot in Inspirational Suspense and Mystery.

Wednesday we’ll hear from Roxanne Rustand. She’ll talk about her new inspirational romantic suspense novel, FINAL REFUGE. She’ll also talk about autumn and share a delicious fall recipe.

FINAL REFUGE

Erin hopes she has found peace at last...until she opens her mail and sees the cryptic threat from her best friend’s killer.

This isn't the first one. He taunted her for five long years with anonymous, untraceable threats on the anniversary of her high school friend's rape and murder, but then they stopped. She’d hoped his frightening game was over, but now he has found her again. This time, will he finish what he started?

Despite her endless caution, frequent moves, and the self-defense classes she has taken many times over, she now knows her move to a remote town in the Montana Rockies hasn’t been enough.

And what's with the handsome man who moved into the cabin next door with a young boy in tow? He seems like a good man. Kind and thoughtful--and he appear to care a lot for the boy. She feels her heart warming toward him. But he is clearly edgy, as if he fears someone is following him.

Is he what he seems, or is he the very threat she fears?

Friday’s post is by Mary Alford. The title of her article is “From One To Many.” She’ll talk about creating a series and will feature new releases from authors Christy Barritt, Lynn Shannon, Lissa Phillips, and Susan Sleeman. She’ll also give away your choice of an ebook copy of one of these awesome novels. Here’s a peek at NIGHT PREY from Susan Sleeman.

NIGHT PREY – Susan Sleeman

She lived for upholding the law…
Defense attorney, Malone Rice, doesn’t want to go to her fifteen year class reunion. Attending means running into her former high school flame, now Portland police detective, Ian Blair. But when the committee decides to honor her for her pro-bono work with homeless teens, she knows it would be churlish not to attend. She will have to go and make the best of it.

But now the law won’t save her.
As expected, Ian attends the reunion, but what Malone doesn’t expect—could never expect—is that Ian would find her standing over their classmate’s dead body. Or that she would still have feelings for the once bad-boy of their high school. Ian’s struggling too, between arresting Malone for murder and his age-old attraction to her. He walks a tightrope, until evidence surfaces that the real killer’s still out there, and Malone becomes his prey. Can Ian overcome his feelings to focus and uncover the truth before the killer strikes again and Malone ends up dead?
