Meet Dangerous Pursuits authors Gina Holder, Loree Lough, Ann Malley, and Lenora Worth! And We Have A Giveaway!

Well, happy Friday, everybody! While it’s not officially fall yet, and it sure doesn’t feel like it here in Texas, I’m in an autumn state of mind and ready for crisp days. Sweater weather. Pumpkin lattes just to name a few things.

So, today, I’d like to introduce you all to four of our very talented authors in the Dangerous Pursuits collection. I will be giving away an eBook copy of one of their books along with a copy of Dangerous Pursuits which releases on October 12th.

All you have to do is comment to be entered and tell me what your favorite thing about fall is.

Meet Gina Holder.  Gina dreamed of being a writer from her early teen years and completed the Long Ridge Writer’s Group “Breaking into Print” course. She also graduated from Faith Bible Institute. In August 2017, she published her first novel, Whither Shall I Go, a historical romance. No Greater Love is her first contemporary romantic suspense.

She lives in Colorado with her husband and daughter. When she’s not homeschooling her daughter or working on her next novel, she enjoys reading, watching movies, singing, and playing the piano and organ.

Gina’s book, No Greater Love, is book one of Shadows Over Whitman.

She's looking for her birth mother. He's looking for a thief.

Will each find what they are searching for?

Paige McDonald, an avid book collector, discovers a forgotten Bible. When the Bible reveals that she was abandoned on the steps of a fire department, she begins a journey to search for her birth mother.

Hamilton Bryant, a Patrol Officer, has sworn off romance, reserving his passion for the town he's sworn to protect. When Paige's arrival in Whitman coincides with random thefts and threats against the mayor, Hamilton is compelled to investigate the newcomer.

When the danger gets personal, can Paige save her reputation before she ends up in jail for crimes she didn't commit?

At last count, USA Today best-selling author Loree Lough had 122 award-winning books (nearly 13 million copies in circulation), hundreds of industry awards, 7 book-to-movie options), 68 published short stories, and 2,500+ nonfiction articles in print. And in August of 2019, Loree celebrated 25 years as a published author!

An oft-invited guest of writers' organizations, colleges and universities, corporate and government agencies in the U.S. and abroad, Loree loves sharing learned-the-hard-way lessons about the craft and the industry.

Loree’s From Ashes to Honor is book one of her First Responders series.

Minutes before two jumbo jets changed U.S. history, New York police officer Austin Finley ignored the call from his brother, who'd been bugging him for days. Trying to live with his one regret causes hatred and bitterness to consume Austin, and when counselor Mercy Samara recommends desk duty, Austin resigns. Haunted by her own memories of 9/11, Mercy takes a job as a school counselor in Baltimore. When Austin, now an EMT, responds to an emergency at Mercy's school, both are stunned and wary. Finally their common—and painful—memories turn suspicion into friendship, then romance. But hard questions linger: Can they truly move beyond their past harsh judgments and harsh words? Will their past finally bring them closer or—as the tenth anniversary of 9/11 draws near—drive them farther apart?

Ann Malley is an empty-nesting mom looking for fun and plenty of distraction. She loves her husband. Good thing since they passed their 30 year anniversary years ago. She adores her inside kitty, Boo, and her opposite twin, Sweet Peanut, the feral beastie Ann and her husband are trying to tame.

Meanwhile, Ann craves someone or something to control, most often when her thoughts are running like a psychotic command and control station with zero control. (Can you feel her? If not, please, have mercy. Her condition is very real.) Sadly, her Special Teams Navy vet counterpart doesn’t take orders anymore. Like he ever did. Neither do her home-schooled kiddos who have all flown states away. Lucky them... and, no, she doesn’t wonder why.

Ann’s book, Fallen Angel, is book one of her Diamond Dogs series.

She'll do ANYTHING to save the child she sacrificed everything to keep

Single mom Angel Le Blanc will survive the hell of post-rape PTSD. She must for her baby's sake, a child whose life depends on Angel's silence about her ordeal. But when Angel is framed for terror trafficking and bullets fly, she knows she needs help...from the one man who has every reason to believe she's guilty.

Trusting is impossible for Roham Arshad, a CIA Diamond Dog operative on assignment. When the Angel that once gave him wings dumped him to have another man’s child, he thought he'd die. He'd surely crossed a professional line that he never will again. But the mystery surrounding Angel is too compelling, much like the deep-seated feelings for her that Roham has found impossible to shake.

Will this reunited couple live long enough to realize their love and form the family they should have been?

Lenora Worth is an ACFW Honor Roll member. She writes inspirational fiction for Harlequin's Love Inspired and sweet romance for Tule Publishing. She also writes for Kensington Books. She helped launch the Rodeo Knights Western Romance imprint. Her LIS Body of Evidence made the NY Times Bestseller list and she is also a USA Today and Publishers Weekly Bestselling author. In 2016, she received a Romantic Times Pioneers of Fiction Award. Three of her books have been nominated for the ACFW Carol Award and she is an RWA RITA finalist. Lenora has written 80+ books and has an estimated 3 million books in print. She loves cheesecake, shoe shopping, walking on the beach, and reading.

Lenora’s latest suspense is entitled Amish Country Secret.

This murder witness is returning home…

With a secret someone wants to bury.

With a hit out on her life, Samantha Herndon escapes to the one place she knows she’ll be safe—her Amish grandmother’s empty home. But when a tornado flings her car into Micah King’s field, her plans for solitary refuge end. The Amish bachelor knows the Englischer is trouble, but he’s falling for her anyway. Can Micah keep Samantha alive…and convince her to stay?

So, tell me what your favorite part of fall is?

I'll announce the winner next Friaday, September 10th.

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!

  1. Living in the south, fall means cooler temperatures and less humidity making it a win - win for sure. Love the changing of the colors and seeing all the rich hues that develop. It's also the time that we see the most deer in our yard. Having so many persimmon trees are a big draw for sure. As they start to rippen and fall, there have been as many as 15 deer in the front yard at one time as they usually come through twice a day to see what's there for their delight.

LOVE all these fabulous authors and can't wait to read their contribution to "Dangerous Pursuits"!
