A Code Developer Uncovers a Japanese Spy Ring
Full of intrigue, adventure, and romance, this new series celebrates the unsung heroes—the heroines of WWII.
FBI cryptographer Eloise Marshall is grieving the death of her brother, who died during the attack on Pearl Harbor, when she is assigned to investigate a seemingly innocent letter about dolls. Agent Phillip Clayton is ready to enlist and head oversees when asked to work one more FBI job. A case of coded defense coordinates related to dolls should be easy, but not so when the Japanese Consulate gets involved, hearts get entangled, and Phillip goes missing. Gonna be a fun week. Can’t wait to hear more about Cryptographers Dilemma.
ReplyDeletesounds like a great week.
ReplyDeleteMy sister's comment for my post (I agree with her): THE CRYPTOGRAPHER'S DILEMMA:
ReplyDeleteI love stories about coding! It was really interesting learning about the Navajo language and how some of their people were used as cryptographers [Code Talkers] during WWII because it was such a unique language! Since they were code talkers, they were not allowed to tell anyone what their job was until finally clearance was granted years after the war was won. Thank you! (This is my sister's input for both of us. My email is livinginjoytogether@gmail.com)
I have read other books about code breakers and thoroughly enjoyed them. The Cryptographer's Dilemma sounds like it will be an exciting read and one I will also enjoy.
