Patricia Bradley here, and it's the middle of July. In Mississippi that means HOT! And I don't want to "cook" anything, not even dessert. I found this delightful recipe a few years ago and tweaked it a little to cut a few calories. Few being the operative word. It's so easy and takes less than ten minutes to make.
STRAWBERRY AND ANGELFOOD DELIGHT
Here's what you'll need: Angel food cake, whipped topping like Coolwhip, strawberries (sliced), 1/2 can of condensed milk, and a bowl.
Add a layer of the sliced strawberries then a layer of topping mixture. Repeat, and voilá, you done!

ReplyDeleteThat looks great!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like something I woul love. Strawberries, angel food cake and whipped cream - what could be better than that.
ReplyDeleteI love fresh strawberries and this looks like a really refreshing dessert and easy to make. Can't wait to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI wonder, could other berries (like maybe blueberries) be used instead of strawberries? I'm unable to have the seeds in the strawberries. It looks so good!
