SILENT DECEPTION.....danger in Hill Country

I hope you are all having a beautiful spring!

Do you grow flowers? Our perennials are all turning green, and some are already flowering despite our cold spring.  The iris are already in full bloom, and so pretty in deep purple. The white ones look like a ruffled petticoat.

I need to search for a variety of other plants.  What are your favorite flowers? What we have is largely limited to the ones I cannot kill, because I'm no gardener! Do you have any suggestions for pretty perennials that can tolerate the weather in the Upper Midwest?

I have a new book releasing next week in my Southwest Peril series! It's available on Amazon for pre-order at this link. Here is a quick description:

Has she just made a terrible mistake by returning home?

Single mother Kristin Cantrell has moved back to the Texas Hill Country, needing a fresh start. She never expected to find that Ryan Gallagher had returned as well. Their painful past goes way back, and neither ever expected to see each other again.

She's also shocked when she learns that most folks in town still despise her late father and wish she had never returned. And now one of them has her in his crosshairs...

Are old memories best forgotten, or can she and Ryan help each other change the past--and keep her young son safe?

Leave a comment, and you will be in a drawing for a free Kindle copy of LETHAL PURSUIT, another book in this series. They can be read in any order.

Wishing you all a beautiful spring!

  1. Sounds like a great book! The setting really resonates with me since I'm about an hour north of the Texas hill country. :)

  4. I'm a rhodie and azalea kind of person. I love hydrangeas but lately, they are not doing so well under my care. ;)

  7. I'm from the northeast and moved to the southeast and am quite frustrated that my favorite plants don't grow well here. Good luck figuring it out.
