Review of Final Approach by Lynette Eason

 I've been looking forward to the release of Final Approach by Lynette Eason for months. The other three books in the Lake City Heroes series have been full of twisty suspense, and I knew the final book would be no exception. 

I won't give any spoilers, but I will say this book ended as my second favorite in the series. (Double Take would have been close to impossible to beat.) The characters were relatable and easy to root for. The villain took me by surprise, although looking back at the story, it couldn't have been anyone else. Lynette did an amazing job of setting everything up without making the person behind the craziness obvious (at least not to me. ;)) 

As I read, the theme struck me as the importance of giving up control of the things you can't dictate. So many parts of life are out of our reach, but even though circumstances may not be in our control, they are under God's authority. Such a comforting thought in this wild world!

I couldn't recommend this book or this series more! It's full of twists and memorable characters. You won't want to miss it! You can get a copy here.
