Listen to Suspense Wherever You Go This Summer

Kristen here. Where are my fellow road trip readers and audiobook fans? I have a new romantic suspense on audiobook for you this summer. The second novel in my Crossroads Suspense series, Hold Your Breath, is now available for your listening enjoyment. It's narrated by the talented Sandra Huston. Her character voices are so spot-on, you'll feel like you're part of the story.

Here's what it's about.

Hold Your Breath

The end justifies the means—or does it?

Serial dater and travel blogger Jayna Scott lands a dream assignment in Bimini, Bahamas at Mario Delgado’s resort. But after she falls hard and fast for her host, she discovers his terrible secret. Her flight instinct sends her to the mountains of North Carolina on a trip with a Tampa church group, but Mario pursues her, determined to prove his actions were justified.

Private investigator Liam Bracken helps his best friend plan a surprise engagement in Beech Mountain to the woman he once liked. Now, the mysterious Jayna, the new addition to their group, tugs at his heart, but his instincts warn him she’s running from something. When Jayna emerges at the epicenter of his agency’s high-profile drug investigation, Liam prays he can save her—and guard his heart at the same time.

Giveaway Alert!

Recently, my family and I drove eleven hours to North Carolina, and listening to books helped keep me sane when it was my turn to drive. (Kudos to my husband for doing the lion's share of the driving!)

Today, I'm giving away one audiobook copy of the first book in the series, Take My Hand. (If audiobooks are not your thing, you can also find this series in paperback and e-book formats.)

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment with your email address and answer to this question: If you could take a road trip anywhere, where would you go? If traveling is not possible for you right now, you can also share a favorite road trip memory.

Happy "listening" to suspense this summer!

Congratulations to Heather M. on winning the giveaway! Thank you to everyone who commented and participated.

  11. I do all the driving in my family. My husband is afraid of bridges, the interstate, semi-trucks, etc. He just navigates when we travel and it works out well. I love what I have read about this book. Audio books make me sleepy, so I can't drive while listening to them. jozywails@gmail.com
