It’s release week for Amish
Country Killer!
What if the answers you seek could
cost you your life?
In Amish Country Killer,
Chief of Police Diana Fisher reopens the haunting case of her mother’s
disappearance—only to find herself in the crosshairs of a deadly killer. But
this isn’t just about her. Someone is terrorizing the Amish community, and as
the body count rises, the connection between past and present becomes even more
sinister.
Enter Detective Micah Nissley, a man
with his own painful past. His fiancée vanished ten years ago without a trace.
Now, as he and Diana unravel the dark secrets hidden in this peaceful town, one
question looms: Is history repeating itself?
With suspense crackling, Amish
Country Killer was a challenging book to write involving a relentless
killer who will stop at nothing to keep the truth buried.
But here’s a question for you,
suspense lovers—if you were Diana, would you risk it all to uncover the past,
knowing a killer is watching your every move?
Let’s hear your thoughts! What’s
your take on reopening cold cases—justice or a dangerous game? Drop a comment
below!
I’ll be giving away a copy of Amish
Country Killer to someone. Be sure to leave your email address so that I
can contact you!

I think reopening cases is important because justice needs to be done. cherierj(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the particular case. It sounds like a really interesting book.

I love Amish books, Owen.darlene@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteYes justice but it can also be dangerous too.
ReplyDeleteYes, cold cases deserve justice. Families need closure. My husband’s brother was murdered years ago and it was never solved.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a mesmerizing, intriguing story that I’d love to read and write a review. I agree that cold cases need to be reopened; sometimes new evidence surfaces, Families need peace and closure knowing justice was finally served.
ReplyDeleteI think we’d all like to forge ahead, but I think you never know how courageous we will be until we are confronted with a situation. This sounds like a great book.
ReplyDeleteAmazing FIVE STAR book!
ReplyDeleteNot entering contest so someone else will get the chance to read it.

I AM Diana (lol) and I'm honestly not sure I'd risk everything to uncover the past. I'm a chicken & not sure I could do it with a killer at my heels! I'd like to think I was that brave, but I look over my shoulder reading a suspense book by Nancy Mehl. Or Mary Alford!

DeleteI love watching & reading the cold case trope! It would be so frustrating to have a case go unsolved forever and to never have justice. christy41970 @ gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteGreat book!
ReplyDeleteI think it’s important to reopen cold cases to give families and law enforcement some comfort.
ReplyDeleteI think more cold cases should be reopened and looked at.
ReplyDeleteIt's both justice and a dangerous situation!

Aside from a number of Christian Romantic Suspense books about reopening a cold case, I only know of one cold case personally. A husband and wife living beside a major highway in our area were shot to death execution-style during the middle of the night in August 2002, and their 9-year-old daughter's skeletal remains were found in a creek about 30 miles south of their home six weeks later. The local police still haven't found any real leads. I think the killer needs to be caught and prosecuted for justice. It could be a dangerous situation, but justice needs to be served.

I think I would risk it, for justice and closure. mizztaraw @ gmail , com
ReplyDeleteI think cold cases need to be reopened so that they can be solved. Justice must be served. Your book sounds and looks intriguing! Thank yo8u for the chance. Alicia Haney. aliciabhaney(at)sbcglobal(dot)net

Perseverance wins success!
ReplyDeleteI think justice and closure is worth the risk. Your book sounds intriguing!
ReplyDeleteSounds great. legallyblonde1961@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteIf I was Diana, I would uncover the past as it involved my mother (Diana's mother), and I would really want to know the truth, but I will proceed with cautious at best.

Justice! I think they should never give up on cases. Families should have the peace that comes with knowing. & Justice in catching the killer. Ty for the chance! Dreadrake1@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI would be willing to do what was necessary for justice.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would risk everything to find the killer of a friend or a loved one. deborahdumm@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of cold cases are being reopened due to the better forensics they have now a days! tWarner419@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI would want all cold cases reopened. There needs to be justice for the family, and I think the not knowing is far worse. I am reading this book now and loving it! Thank you, Mary Alford, for another great book!
ReplyDeleteCold cases should always be reopened! Family and friends deserve the closure from a murder!
ReplyDeleteJustice - they should always be reopened if new evidence appears!
ReplyDeleteJustice needs to prevail! I hurt for families who never know what happened to their loved one. Can you ever get over a disappearance, or accept a death, when there's so much uncertainty?
