Wondering what's new in inspirational suspense and mystery? Ariel Lawhon, Kristina McMorris and Susan Meissner have recently released When We Had Wings from Harper Muse. This book is based on true events.
Here's a little bit about the story: Based on the true experiences of "the Angels of Bataan," this interwoven tale tells of three women stationed in Manila during WWII. Navy nurse Eleanor Lindstrom, army nurse Penny Franklin, and Filipina nurse Lita Capel forge a resilient friendship but soon must endure combat conditions and captivity as the war's first female prisoners.
