I love this time of year best of all--and so look forward to putting away summer clothes and bringing out my sweaters! How about you? What is your favorite season?
The fall colors are barely starting here, so I nabbed a few photos I took last year--the first in the Wauchau Valley of Germany (I think it was, anyway--we were on a long river cruise and I might be confused!) and the second in Wisconsin.
It's a time of other changes, too. Our daughter and son-in-law have come back to the Midwest to stay with us while they house hunt, so every passing week brings different possibilities for them--though my husband and I love having them home. We hope to have them here until spring!
And, after a lull this spring, I'm back under contract with Love Inspired. It's delightful to look ahead to being busy, while I begin my next three books.
So...what are you up to? Any special plans for this fall or winter? What is your favorite season?
If you leave a comment, you will be added to a drawing for a free e-copy of my Love Inspired Suspense, Murder at Granite Falls.
Best wishes to you for a wonderful fall!

I'm working on the next book in my Memphis cold case series and trying not to add another five pounds! lol Enjoyed reading about your plans and wish you the best as you begin your new series!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patricia. So true about trying not to add another five pounds---the more sedentary I am (at my desk) and the tighter the deadline, the worse I am!
DeleteAutumn is my favorite season too. Just wish we had a bit more color here in SW Tennessee. I would love to win a copy!
ReplyDeletePam, I didn't realize that about the fall colors in Tennessee. We may have tougher winters, but I do love seeing the fall colors up here!
DeleteI like Autumn, too. The color of the leaves and cooler weather, although it will be in the 90's here this week. I guess we'll jump from summer to winter like we always do in Missouri! This sounds like a great read!
ReplyDeleteWe're in Iowa, but we are hitting 88 today and 90 tomorrow, and I am wondering where our nice cool fall temps went!
DeleteMy favorite season indeed is autumn. No special plans really.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you, here on the blog!
DeleteFall is my favourite season, I'm looking forward to long colourful walks

Fall is my favorite time to take photos. In a few weeks I'll be heading to northern Wisconsin, and always hope to hit the peak color!
DeleteI love Fall! I loved it better growing up in Michigan where the leaves actually changed colors. I live in Kansas now, not as many changing leaves or they change and drop in the same day.
ReplyDeleteI Love to read christian romantic suspense!
I've never been in Michigan in the fall, but I'll bet its gorgeous!
DeleteI the changing leaves! Why an eboook? If, I won I don't own an ereader and don't own any kind of cell phone. I kn ow! I kn ow! I'm still in the dark ages! (At least that's what my daughter says!)

I usually offer ebooks, in case the winner is in a foreign country because postage can be so expensive, but if you do win the drawing, I'll send a hard copy.
DeleteMy favorite season is Spring. I love watching the flowers blooms. It reminds me of a new beginning.

Thanks for comment. That is so true!
DeleteFall is my favorite! Cool crisp air, camping trips, campfires, county fairs, beautiful leaves and corduroys and turtlenecks.

What a lovely description!
DeleteI love fall. Even though it is allergy season for me. I love the colors and the cooler weather, and pretty much anything pumpkin.

I can't get over all of the pumpkin products one can buy these days. I love shopping at Aldi's, and it seems as if they come up with more pumpkin products every year!
DeleteMy favorite season is fall. I love all of the beautiful colors of the leaves and flowers. I also love the cooler temps. Thanks for the giveaway. I love reading the Love Inspired books!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season isn't actually a season of the year. It is baseball season so it runs from mid-March through October. For the first time in years I have actually been able to go to a number of live games this year which makes it more special. My reading time has suffered from it though.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of fall and I enjoy the cool nights and warm days that we usually enjoy in Kentucky. Although I enjoy watching snow fall from the sky and gather on the ground I'm not a lover of cold weather. The months ahead will hopefully allow me more time to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this post.
Blessings!

Call is my very favorite season. It sounds like you are in a very happy spot in your life right now, with your daughter and son in law with y'all house hunting. I can hardly wait until it is sweater-wearing weather. I am in central Oklahoma and we are still in the high 80's during the day still.
