What’s on your TBR list for 2026?

Melissa here! Happy New Year! I received a lot of books for Christmas (yay!!), so I have a long TBR list. So far, I’ve read:

-          How (Not) To Read The Bible by Kimball

-          Misreading Scripture With Western Eyes by Richards and O’Brien

-          Reversing Hermon by Heiser (in progress)

A few on my TBR:

-          The Complete Guide To Bible Prophecy by Rhodes

-          Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand (I know, how have I not read this yet?)

-          The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis

-           It Doesn’t Have To Be This Hard by Mike Nappa

-          The Library by Murray

-          Where God Came Down by Kramer

-          Fatal Finale by Nancy Mehl

-          The Purple Nightgown by A.D. Lawrence

But I have to admit, sometimes it’s hard to find the next great read. Sometimes, I pull them from books I’ve read. Books on apologetics and other Biblical-related books often site books on the subject, and I add them to my TBR. Fiction can be a lot harder. I’ll find an author I really like, devour all their books, and then be back to square one again. I bet a lot of you have this same issue. With that in mind, I thought you might like a few recommendations to put on your 2026 TBR:

Biblical reading:

-          Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi - basically a biography of his journey to Christ.

-          The Unseen Realm by Heiser - ever wonder about Genesis 6:1-4 (the Nephilim)?

-          I Don’t Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist by Geisler and Turek - why Christianity makes logical sense.

-          The Case For Christ by Strobel - journalist interviews experts to help determine if the Bible can be trusted. Extremely easy to read.

Fiction:

-          Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

-          Man of Shadow and Mist by Michelle Griep

-          The Spice King by Elizabeth Camden

-          Drift by Sharon Carter Rogers

-          Plus all the books by the Suspense Sisters team!

Now I want to know what’s on your TBR!

OR give us some recommendations to put on our TBRs!

If you want to add one of my books to your TBR, please comment and leave your email address for a chance to win your choice of one of my books.

  1. I've read both Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus and The Case for Christ--highly recommend them! My TBR list is overflowing with books, but a few of them are The Collector of Burned Books by Roseanna M. White, The Puzzle Within by Gina Holder, and, of course, your book Descended. (I've read all your other ones!)😊
