When I was younger I tended to read stories where the guy rescues the girl, but am glad there are more options where the heroine discovers, with God's help, resources within herself to aid herself and others. I especially am delighted where she outwits the "bad guy" or shows herself to be stronger than she
imagined. Thank you for the generous book offer!
Janice
pjrcmoore@windstream.netAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-641599238951031625.post-67109306194548016502015-06-05T06:56:40.858-07:002015-06-05T06:56:40.858-07:00Tried to go back in and edit but it wouldn't l...Tried to go back in and edit but it wouldn't let me. Sometimes when I've written a strong heroine, someone has sad it was disappointing the hero didn't step up. But if I write a strong hero who saves the heroine, it's disappoint that the heroine wasn't stronger! LOL So I've decided to just write the story God gives me. We can't please everyone, right? A woman doesn't need a man to save her, but it's certainly nice to have someone to lean on or trust at times. I love books with Christian themes. They show how God is always there on the mountains and in the valleys, so it's up to us to lean on him and let him guide us.
Thank you for sharing Elizabeth.
BlessingsBetween the Pages with Katrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03965157511733848115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-641599238951031625.post-8991592061361968052015-06-04T11:15:58.802-07:002015-06-04T11:15:58.802-07:00I am looking forward to reading this one very much...I am looking forward to reading this one very much!
